Abstract
NGC 6251 is a giant elliptical radio galaxy (gEr) ~340 Mly away, hosting an AGN that produces one of the most noteworthy relativistic jets known. Using archival WFPC2 and NICMOS data, obtained from the Hubble Legacy Archive (HLA), we will present an analysis of NGC6251’s structure, dust distribution, and stellar population, to better understand the relationship between the object’s primary morphologies.
