Abstract
The maximum power output of a Dyson sphere can be estimated using the temperature profile of the solar system. The calculations are based on the average global power consumption and the maximum achievable output. By combining the blackbody radiation equation and the Carnot efficiency theorem, we can deduce an approximate power output and mass required.
