Abstract
This work presents a process to convert microalgal feedstocks (Chlorella vulgaris) into Polyethylene Furanoate (PEF), a biobased alternative to Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) with improved barrier properties, proving a sustainable pathway for bioplastic production.
