Abstract

This project aims to drive a YAG laser using an 808 nm laser as an alternative to a traditional flash lamp. The 808 laser diode would replace the traditional flash lamp within the laser cavity. With this as an alternative, we wish to achieve energy efficiency and enhance laser performance relative to a power inefficient flash lamp driven alternative.
