Abstract
This paper is my Master's Thesis which is based on Cockpit Voice and Video Recorder which is an enhancement to the current Cockpit Voice Recorder. The main aim of my project is to use the system for training of pilots about cockpit functions and different in flight scenarios. The key factors for efficient Human-Machine systems such as situation awareness, decision making, risk management are studied in this thesis. The complexity in the design and the way to override such complexity is also demonstrated in this paper. A g1 impse of understanding through emotions is also discussed as an advantage in my project. As of now I had done multiple experiments with domain experts on different critical scenarios and then obtained the video transcripts to examine and analyze by using appropriate software tools.
