This presentation introduces the Model Codes of Conduct by the Aviators Code Initiative, including their use, value, and points of access of the codes, and their use to enhance safety management. It also defines a code of conduct in general, discusses the benefits of an aviators code in particular, considers the importance of striving for excellence, and how excellence & professionalism fit into flying, describes the scope of the ACI codes, emphasizes their practicality and support for academic endeavors, and shows where to find the Codes and supporting resources.
